INTRODUCTION ON ASTROLOGY

Astrology is an ancient art. It was studied by human thousands of years ago based on observations of the stars in the sky. The basis of it is quite scientific but due to commercial reasons, a strong tinge of superstition is included. My curiosity in this field began when I was 15 as I am trying to figure out a way that may reveal some common traits of the person based on a structured system of classification. HOW CAN ASTROLOGY WORK FOR US

For English Astrology signs, I felt very compelled to include the materials from an unknown source forwarded by a friend (who incidentally does not believe in zodiac but was amazed by a relatively high percentage of accuracy). The first part of each description is taken from the materials and the second part is based on my own understanding and observations from close friends.

However my goal here is not to develop judgment and prejudice towards what is suited and not suited to us. Generally compatible signs carries a more “unspoken understanding” and higher tolerance of one another. But the downside is that there may be no self development. Our real challenge comes when we have to live with or associate with people that are totally different with us in terms of personality and outlook in life. If we can learn to accept and understand others as they are, we may pick up some wonderful traits when we find lacking in us and make it to be our own. I quote this purely from my own personal experience and the most important lesson that Astrology teaches me.

2. The signs are only the guides. It may not be 100% accurate. A lot of other things shape a person such as experiences, trauma and background. That is why you may not find all that I mentioned tallies with what you or others may have experienced. Even some of the traits I described about in my own sign are no longer a dominant in me (but it is hard work to get rid of it). Believe in your own power and ability to shape your future and develop yourself into the best of your capabilities.
